Izzy and Richard
A few weeks ago i was asked to capture the union of the wonderful Izzy and Richard at the truly beautiful Woughton House Hotel. I love this venue as it is so picturesque, with numerous opportunities around the venue where you can capture lovely images. Inside the hotel, the decor is equally as impressive and they are able to create a very relaxing ambience with their choice of music outside in the reception and bar area. Coupled with lovely staff who are very friendly and do their best to cater to the needs of every guest, it is small wonder that so many couples trust this company to be the venue for their special day.
For this wedding, i decided to venture into the unknown and ditch my zoom and leave this at home in favour of primes for the whole day. After my initial fear of how this will turn out, i think i can safely say that i don’t think i’ll be using a zoom at a wedding again. Primes are so much sharper and the bokeh capabilities are maximised due to the increased aperture capabilities, beautiful.
Enough of me geeking out, here are a handful of shots from this wonderful day and i cant wait to get the whole collection over to you.
Neil and Johanna
A few weeks I was asked to travel down to Essex to capture the union of Johanna and Neil. It was a stunning day from start to finish, It was great to spend time with Johanna and her bridesmaids consisting of friends and family in the morning to kick things off. The father of the bride decided to don a hilarious face mask to beautify himself as well as the ladies which truly caused some belly laughs.
Even on the most special day of your life, normal life still doesn’t stop and I managed to capture some beautifully tender moments with he bride and her daughter, as well as Johanna’s dogs getting up to typical dog antics!
Entertainment was also A1, with a great comedian coming along to keep guests throughly entertained. Wait, was it Delboy!!? An absolutely uncanny spitting image that most definitely had me fooled for a very long time. I had to ask the bride and groom multiple times whether it was actually THE Delboy.
Following on from this were the great band Get On Up, with the name paying homage to the legend that was James Brown. The band were awesome and effortlessly managed to keep the guests on their feet for the entire evening. I had a great time and cannot wait to get the entire selection of images over to you but for now here is snippet of my time with you!
